What to Wear

-start with basic neutrals

-coordinate instead of matching

-layers, patterns and texture add depth

-mix textures

-avoid logos, multiple patterns, and matching

-bright bold colors distract as well as reflect onto skin tones

-comfortable shoes

-if you have transitional glasses please bring a regular pair

Try to coordinate with similar color tones as apposed to matching. Start with a basic neutral color palette, keep things simple, and let your individual styles shine through. Layers, patterns, and textures add depth and interest to your look.

Most importantly wear (and lets kids wear) comfortable clothes, it’ll reflect back in your photographs. If your kiddo wants and insists on wearing a favorite character tee, lets embrace it. It’ll speak to that moment in time for them. I also love a fun reveal, so see if they want to wear a button or zip up shirt over top and have a fun “Superman” moment. They will be happier to play and be themselves in their favorite things.

It often helps me visualize outfits as a whole, by laying them flat near each other on a surface. Do not hesitate to reach out with questions, I’d be more than happy to consult on outfits that are just right for your crew!
